Pondering this... Do I get a new geo before or after new tyres are fitted? My thinking is before so they can see tyre wear and adjust anything accordingly, OR after so that it's set correctly for the new tyres :dont know:

I would get the tyres changed first, and get the alignment done as soon as poss afterwards. Take some photos showing the wear on each tyre, and discuss it with the alignment people once they have some readings. It should put your mind at rest that the adjustments they are going to do will correct the uneven wear.

Chris at Centre Gravity told me that having the used tyres on was the best thing so he could see wear patterns and therefore what teh issues / errors were. If you change the tyres firs then this cant happen and the good clues worn tyres provide are gone. I would get the Geo done with the existing tyres and then swap to new ones as soon as you can if they are needed. I got my Geo done and got the tyres renewed the next day.
