Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi guys, wheres the best place to get touch up paint and is it worth doing. I have a few chips in the bumper and a couple of little marks on the door which don't go through the primer and i just wanted to touch them up a bit the colour is midnight blue if that makes a difference. The white on the bumper and the redon the door really stand out!!

POST 2Original post

Get the paint code from your VIL sticker and call your OPC. They sell a paint and lacquer set for around £10.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yea thats the colour of the primer isn't it? Unless of course the doors been replaced and its from a guards red 996.

POST 5Original post

Your primer should be white as on your bumper. Sounds like something has happened to your door in the past. Doesn't really matter now though does it?

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

No i suppose not. I know the front end had a bit a respray at some point so i wonder if the door was smashed in at somepoint beyond repair.

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is there much colour difference between ocean blue and midnight blue?

POST 8Original post

Big difference. Ocean blue is like a navy blue, Midnight blue is almost a black blue.

POST 9Original post

I think I still have an Ocean Blue touch up stick set in the garage somewhere. If I can find it (major tidy up a couple of weeks ago), I could pop it in the post to you. email or PM me your address if you want it.

POST 10 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ok richard, I got the stick-foot of authenticity and that says its ocean blue so i guess that is the colour i've got. I've PMed you my address.
