Had the 18ways in the GTS, which were great, but felt the GT4 needs the buckets as fitted more with the ethos of the car, anyhow for me they are great.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

28 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

Decided it was time to get off the fence and bought a GT4 from West London, nice drive up the road to Scotland on one tank! Looking forward to getting some proper driving done in the spring.

POST 6 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

interstellar said: Lovely. What colour is that? It’s Arctic grey

POST 8Original post

Nice, I think the GT4 is the only porker I would consider owning.

POST 10Original post

That is a very nice Christmas present to yourself - enjoy the new steer.

POST 11Original post

Great purchase ! And perfectly judged on that tank of fuel as well.

POST 15Original post

That’s some maiden journey & lovely car, enjoy.

POST 16Original post

Congratulations. Looks great. I did the same journey exactly this time last year. I found it fairly comfortable on the trip back. I think we encountered every variation of weather on the way back up...... I think in Scotland we are spoiled sometimes, we are not used to sooo much traffic (bloody m25) Was a 40th birthday present to myself. Literally the next day we found out my wife was pregnant . Still got the wife, still got the car, still got the baby. Enjoy

POST 17Original post

I was saying to a guy this morning how happy I was with my banger, how liberating it is etc etc. But I envy you that lovely machine.

POST 19Original post

Congrats on the new toy, car twin!! Now to just get it up the North Coast! I’ve always been happy doing long distances in the buckets. Ullapool to Cheshire is a similar distance, be it a MUCH nicer drive for the most of it. And always find it easy in a oner. Jack

POST 21Original post

Thanks! Saw the yellow belts in yours. Does it have yellow stitch as well? Clubsport? I was lucky to be able to spec mine, so threw everything at it knowing it would probably be one of the last.

Thought the colour combination was a bit strange… lol. An easy fix with the red belts if the rest of the spec is right.

POST 24Original post

Beautiful Car and a wonderful colour . I have the same in the 4.0 GTS and will be making the same journey albeit from MK to Glasgow on Thursday morning . Departure at 4am and Tebay for around 6.45am and a short nap till Breakfast at 7.30am . Isn't it great that with the Country on its rear end that pleasure is still being derived from the simplest of things a car and the open road . Wishing you much happiness and the health to enjoy her .

reddiesel said: Will you be contemplating going down the PPF route ? No on the PPF , car remains unmarked after its drive up, I keep my distance from other vehicles, which has always served me well for the most part.
