and really want change the look of the car from the front i have managed to get the 911 turbo front and rear bumpers at a very good price but still need the headlights ive been told that the wings will need to be changed over for the headlights to fit if thats the case do you know what sort of money they sell for and do you know of any up for sale will also need the headlights.

Thanks for all the advise guys :thumbs: alot of usefull info i can use im not offended in anyway whatsoever its good to know theres some porsche owners with some knowledge i havent had the car long so dont really no much about what sort of works involved i got the car at a good price so i dont mind giving it a treat not in a rush its just something i can work on in my free time.

Cool It Automotive carry many parts & have done the conversion on my 1999 Carrera.
I dont think its all as easy as it may seem,looms may need altering & the rear heat shields may need changing.
My advice.
Leave alone you are creating amongrel that only you will ever want to own.
Unless you are of course going to keep it for ever.
If you want the turbo look try a c4 the good doctor made it this way.
Porsche is not a corsa or saxo bolt on mod for fun car.
Everthing is there for a reason not for good looks.
Save your money and move to the model you really want.you are just devaluing a great car.
Just my opinion mind!!!!!
Got to admit it that is some sound advice. About the only mods I consider are private plate and stainless dust caps!!! I still look at my C4 Cab 996 and cant see what I would want to change anyway!!!

Your car looks really great so don't be offended. A C2 can really look like a GT3 when the job is well done.
C2 or C4 to Turbo is a different story. Front and rear bumpers are not enough and might look strange without a wide body. The cost of the full upgrade is most probably quite high and there no chance (I think) to get the money back when you sell the car. So it is not a bad option to save a bit longer in that case.

Unless I'm mistaken, there's a huge cost difference between an early C2 (sub-15k) and a C4S (sub-30k)?
As long as the owner realises they won't get their money back on the sale and may actually end up getting less than a stock C2 is worth, I don't see the problem tbh.
