Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

Hi, In law has a 997 Porsche Targa 4s 'auto' and isn't happy with the wheel... Basically wants paddles instead of the buttons. Has he got any options? He's not very internet savvy so i said i'd enquire for him, dealers not very helpful. Many thanks in advance,

POST 2Original post

If you're asking about options regarding replacing the push/pull pdk thumb levers with paddle shifters the answer is yes you can do this, but a new steering wheel is required to do the swap.

POST 3Original post

Yes i am but the car is pre- pdk i believe. Can you provide any more detail? He's happy to cough up for a new wheel but needs more info on parts/suppliers etc and crucially compatibility! Thanks again
