Porsche has issued a worldwide recall on the HPFP for the 09-10 DFI engines in the 997 series. I don't have information about the 987s. My dealer did not notify me about my 09 so I am passing this along to all of you as I just had this service done. Check w/ your dealer about your 09-10 997 to see if this service has been done on your car. HPFP problems have been discussed on this site if you want more information.

My 09 Cayenne just had its fuel pump replaced under the same recall... so I assume this is across many (most) 09 DFI models. My 09 Cayman S also is on their list, just have not taken it in yet.
