Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.

0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.

Suggestion

One member on here did try using CDs from Vauxhall (I think?) but that was for a more later version of the mapping than the discs you might have been supplied with (either 2003 or perhaps 2004).

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I have recently purchased a 2004 C4S Cabrio. I assume the PCM fitted is the PCM2 version. Is there anything available that will add Speed Camera locations to the Sat Nav feature? Also, I have the Phone Module fitted. Does anyone know if it is possible to purchase a 2nd SIM card (using the same telephone number I already have) so I can leave a SIM permanently in the car? I have tried Orange, but they won't let me have two SIM's with the same phone number. It's such a pain transferring the SIM from the Mobile to the Car each time

POST 2Original post

Hi John - welcome to 911uk.com. Being a 2004 model means you have a PCM II. I am not aware of anything that can be added to the SatNav which will give you speed camera locations. One member on here did try using CDs from Vauxhall (I think?) but that was for a more later version of the mapping than the discs you might have been supplied with (either 2003 or perhaps 2004). Too bad that you just recently missed a group buy on some devices that pick up all types of cameras etc. I hear that Vodafone supplies second SIMs so you can keep one in the car. I was told this by a previous C4S owner from this forum (who's since left) but I haven't checked whether Vodafone indeed do. ~ Maxie

POST 3Original post

John, Maxie, is correct re: Vodafone. I had a colleague who has done exactly this on his 911 Millennium; all he had to do was send a code so the call went either to his handset or the car. Hope this helps, Simon

POST 5Original post

I am a bit new to this forum but wanted to ask about the speed camera question in relation to satnav. I have an 05 997 C2S and wanted to know if there is anyhthing you can add to the satnav that will pick up cameras or if there are any suggetion about how best to do this perhaps with alternative to the porsche software if this can be loaded. Did you find out any more about this or can you point me in the rigth direction. Also I do not have the phone software or phone option although key pad is there, does anyone know if it is possible to add this and what the cost may be?
