I was advised to use a Vodafone SIM card, I cannot remember the technical reason but from memory it has something to do with the frequency range that Vodafon use.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

PCM Sim Card Hi Robert, I was advised to use a Vodafone SIM card, I cannot remember the technical reason but from memory it has something to do with the frequency range that Vodafon use. Do not remove from the card it is supplied in, at the time I obtained mine they were free on the internet. After inserting the card you follow the instructions, I have never had any problems and been using it for approximately 6-months.

Re: PCM Sim Card O2 and Vodafone are both operating as GSM900/3G networks (PCM is only GSM) so it will not make any difference As per other advice make sure you have the phone module. It doesnt matter if the SIM is old because I still have an original one2one 12 year old (Remember them!!!!!) sim card and it works without any problems with my PCM2
