Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I just got a call from the service center about my friends 911, he is on holliday, so i im the contact point for his car while he is away. Its a Porsche 911 (996) 2004 and has run about 120.000 km The following items needs to be fixed: - Clouch. - Rooftop leaking (inner blanket loose) its a cab. - 2 Front watercoolers a leaking. - Waterpump is leaking. - Defect spark coils and old spark plugs, all need replacement. Now, my question is, i have a father who is a mechanic, and i have also repaired and restored a lot of cars over time, so what sould i be able to perform my self, i have never beside changing breakpads and airfilter on my Cayman, made any Porsche. Could i change to following items myself: - 2 Watercoolers in the front. - Spark plugs and coils I guess the rest need special tools. I found this article regarding spark plugs: Spark Plug - Articles are it the same procedure for the 911 as well? Thanks very much in advance.
