Suggestion

I had this same problem, fast blinking signal, when replacing my front headlamps - I had to hold the headlamp housing in place from under the wheel well to make my new lights fully connect when pushing them into place.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

11 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

In the last couple of days, my turn signal is clicking at about twice the rate it used to. What is the cause, and how can I get it back to normal? I've got an 06 Boxster, still under warranty.

POST 2Original post

This can happen when a bulb is burnt out, or if the headlamp is not making a good connection with the headlamp receptacle. I had this same problem, fast blinking signal, when replacing my front headlamps - I had to hold the headlamp housing in place from under the wheel well to make my new lights fully connect when pushing them into place. I would check visually to verify all lights are working as expected. Let us know what you find.
