shop (RMS replacement) and they have informed me they are having an issue "getting the computer to read the Tiptronic Fluid level" and that they might have to keep the car longer to find out "why the transmission fluid level reset procedure isn't working.

I was having some work done by a local 3rd party Porsche shop (RMS replacement) and they have informed me they are having an issue "getting the computer to read the Tiptronic Fluid level" and that they might have to keep the car longer to find out "why the transmission fluid level reset procedure isn't working. I have never heard of there being any electronic sensor or computer management of the fluid level in the Transmission. Only the initial setting of the level when changing the fluid. Is this real? What sensor could control that?
