If I were to find a tt, let's say 2002 or 2003, what's a ball park figure for insurance? 59, California, married, 3-5k miles a year, Perfect driving record, currently have Allstate, and a nice guy about half the time! I know there's probably not a lot of folks on here that match me, but just curious how expensive this would be, especially in this state. The way things are going I might even hit 60 B4 I get one.

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

My 996 C4 is suprisingly cheap. Enough so that the agent mentioned she might have to go shopping for one. TT I would assume will be more. with 3-5K miles a year you might want to look at Haggerty or other such companies.
So...did all the 996 NA engine reading scare you off or just looking for more performance? Being in NE and owning a 2005 996 C4S I can't help you with insurance advice. Mine is @ $700 per year, 64 year old-safe driver-multiple autos-home-umbrella policy deducts.
A little scared 'cause of the motor, yeah. Sometimes I read too much and do too much research. TT seems to be a bigger bang for the money and holds more value. I don't really need the HP, but I didn't need the HP I built into Camaro and I still did it. Just looking around locally I've found a '02 with 50k on the odo for around 40k. Seems prices are on the uptick.
Haggarty $700 for 40th Anni. version declared value 34K
That's not bad. A tt would be a little more. But still not bad. I didn't know Hagerty insured newer vehicles. They currently insure my SC AND Z28.
