Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi, I can't seem to find a straight answer on whether the uk 2004 Turbo came with M030 as standard. My COA doesnt mention it. My frunk sticker is illegible One top indie - made a note to "check if M030" Another top indie - said it "m030 is standard on turbo" A few threads here have people asking if it is is "worth upgrading"... Any clear answer or reference? Side question - if you are fully replacing "everything" anyway...does it matter e.g. will b6 fit anyway..can you buy b4 m030 shocks anyway...will it only matter if you are retaining certain parts? Thanks for the help Regards K

POST 2Original post

x73 is the lower height option for the turbo from MY2004. Standard turbo ride height is the same as standard models with sports suspension. MC

POST 3Original post

I was told the turbo has M030 as standard by Pete @ Center Gravity. As MC says, sports option is X73 on a 'tub.

POST 4Original post

I have never heard of mo30 being used as a description of turbo suspension and don't think thats correct (??) It is 10mm lower than a carerrar 4 on which the turbos suspension is based but it had various adaptations to allow for the higher weight and performance It was referred to officially as "comfort orientated sports suspension" bit springs and dampers and arb were specifically tuned for the turbo - so this won't be the same as mo30 on non turbo cars. X73 was introduced towards the back end of the turbos life as the official optional sports suspension option (-20mm)

POST 5Original post

Yes, to clarify, there is no m030 option for the turbo, but the standard turbo height is the same as a Carrera with m030. MC
