No need to shout! [ ]. All capitals is generally regarded as shouting on forums. 1) You just have to wait until the oil is up to temperature before you can take a reading. There is no way round it. Because it is dry sump, the only time the reading is accurate is when the crankcase is scavenged, and the oil is up to temperature.
