Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • PistonHeads: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

1 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

My 992.1 connected to the Apple car okay flawlessly but yesterday it stopped connecting. I have reset the phone. Removed the phone and reconnected as new device but still no luck. Could you please tell me whet can I do to fix this. P.S Car play still works if I connect the phone via USB.

POST 2Original post

I had problem with CarPlay dropping out regularly, which was fixed by a dealer upgrade (along with other PCM/communication issues.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Problem solved. I had taken the car to Isle of Man which is part of UK so never thought anything of it. Apparently car wifi stopped working. However I have just come back and car wifi is working and everything working. Phew. Edited by Docmem on Sunday 11th August 19:41

Glad to hear you got it sorted. As an aside if you have more than one iPhone paired with the car it will sometimes connect to the wrong phone if both (or more) are in the car at the same time when starting up. In the past I've had to delete a phone and re-pair it to get it to recognise the correct one.
