Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.
Discussions that suspect a cause
1
0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suspected cause
If the current slow down on this site is due to the new photos than it will really bog down when all the introduction photos start coming in.
Leading evidence: 'photos than it will really bog down' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, the most frequently mentioned possible cause is 'photos than it will really bog down' (1 discussions; 0 report identifying it and 1 suggest it). No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Our display car is hear! It is the same colors and equipment of the cars at the Ride & Drive in Atlanta.
I hope this picture of it in our shopis attached.
I was worried about the bumperettes as well but I think I can live with them. Considering the other 'drivers' around here I'll probably be glad to have them.
If the current slow down on this site is due to the new photos than it will really bog down when all the introduction photos start coming in. Maybe we need some posting rules?
Are the rear bumperettes on US spec
Cayman S
's larger, smaller or the same as those on a
Boxster S
? Not used to seeing them on the
Cayman S
and hope I can adjust to seing them over time;my initial reaction is probably best kept to myself.
Just saw the
Cayman
!!! McKenna Porsche in Norwalk California. Sweeeet ,Sweeet , Sweeet car. Cannot drive yet factory has not invoiced the dealer and won't till January. Artic Silver w/ black int. It looks better in real life than the pictures if that's possible.

Too cool.......looks excellent. The bumperettes don't bug me that much......if at all. Its almost like a Porsche trademark here in the states. Now the front bumperettes on the first 996 turbos were UGLY! These I can live with.
This car is Artic Silver with Black standard leather, PCM 2.1, Bi-Xenon headlights, Heated seats, 19' Carrera S wheels, PASM, TPMS, Sport Chrono Plus, Bose Surround sound and Sport Steering wheel. MSRP is $71,425. We are closed on Thanksgiving Day only. Hope to see you.

...trust me, there's no PASM on that croc - just the 'sport' switch next to the spoiler switch, plus it looks slung at standard height.
Dean
It could very well have PASM.
First.....a lot of cars are shipped with spacers in the springs to keep them from bouncing around too much on the trip to the dealer.....during normal prep they are taken out. Don't know if thats the case here but very well could be.
Second.....Porsche suspensions are notorious for needing time to 'settle' to their final ride height after being lifted or transported.
</blockquote>
...don't you read? So how would someone switch the PASM from 'normal' to 'sport' then? There is no PASMbutton you nutter! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/wink_smile.gif

Actually looking at the interior pic it looks like where the
PASM
switch would be is covered by the steering wheel so I can't tell if there is one there or not, given the price I'll take Wallace's word for it.
<blockquote id="quote">quote:<hr id="quote" noshade="noshade" height="1" /> TRUST ME - ThisCroc does have
PASM
. And the blocks were in the suspension when the pictures were taken. I will post more pictures when it comes out of clean up.<blockquote id="quote">quote:<hr id="quote" noshade="noshade" height="1" /> <blockquote id="quote">quote:<hr id="quote" noshade="noshade" height="1" /> <blockquote id="quote">quote:<hr id="quote" noshade="noshade" height="1" /> <blockquote id="quote">quote:<hr id="quote" noshade="noshade" height="1" /> Wallace please give us the full spec of your show car. ...oops! the sport button is under the 2nd air con button and there would defo be a
PASM
button under the 1st, my mistake!!! sorry guys, I'll go back to sleep now - well it is Friday! /fckeditor/editor/images/smiley/MWPX/embaressed_smile.gif
FWIW I'll be driving one next Wednesday and will let you know how I get on.
Dean
PS nice to know the blocks were still in it as my main reason for speccing the PASM was to get the car lower to the ground as it looks much better and usually more than 10mm from what I've seen...
