Suggestion

I have no idea what a 987 will do if more than 1 fails at a time, but if you're seeing a failure code, I'd replace ALL of them.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi guys my 2007 Porsche cayman 2.7 987 is showing a abs and Psm fault light after plugging into the car it is showing fault code ( 4215 and 4210 ) rear left wheel speed sensor line and rear right wheel speed sensor line , anyone had this before and knows the most likely fix cheers

POST 2Original post

check the plastic clip for the speed sensor wiring harness near the wheel hub/absorber strut. its quite a large grey coloured wiring clip. they tend to crack and once loose, will create an error code.

POST 3Original post

I'll also note - the wheel speed sensors on many cars have started reaching the end of life for the originals. My 2011 Cayenne barfed over 3 of them last year, it now has 4 new ones. When the Cayenne was upset it stopped the car and wouldn't let you drive it over a crawl speed on your hands and knees. If I tried to go faster it started activating random brakes. My wife's 2011 Lexis RS had the same thing happen about the same time - but her car remained driveable. I have no idea what a 987 will do if more than 1 fails at a time, but if you're seeing a failure code, I'd replace ALL of them.
