Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

2008 Boxster , import from Japan to Canada. I’m trying to change dash board language from Japanese to English, no luck. Does anyone have any hints on how to do this? Thank you.

POST 2Original post

Since reading your post, and question, Ive been doing web searches on your query and so far the only thing I’ve been able to come up with is that it is done through the PCM , or Porsche Communication Management system. Apparently it was optional in earlier generations of 996/ 986 into 997/987, I believe called 2.0, but if you don’t have the PCM I don’t think you can make changes to the settings. But don’t quote me on that, I’m still researching it.
