Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

1 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1Original post

Hi All, Been a long time since I've needed help on my cayman , it's a 2008 S. I recently replaced my AOS, plastic hoses and some of the vacuum hoses. I also cleaned the intake manifold, MAF sensor and throttle body of oil while I was in there. Problem is I couldn't remember how to connect all the vacuum lines again, looked at a bunch of diagrams online and I think I got them right. Problem that I'm having is that when I plug in my durametric to the car, the secondary air system says fail. I have no CEL or any faults at all, so I'm stumped as what it could be. I have PSE and that's working correctly I think, mpgs don't seem like they've changed much, haven't noticed any other issues driving, the air pump is working fine(I can turn it on and off with durametric). I took some readings of the fuel trim with my duramteric, was hoping someone here that has knowledge with that system could look at the numbers and tell me if something is off. I took the voltages of the o2 sensors also and they seem to be working. Fuel trim mean value B1: 1.019 Fuel trim mean value B2: 0.99 RKAT B1: 1.031% RKAT B2: -0.094% FRAU B1: 0 FRAU B2: 0 FRAO B1: 0.98 FRAO B2: 1.00250 MAF: 16.1 02 sensor volt B1: 0.72v 02 sensor volt B2: 0.72v TIA, I need to get my inspection done on my car this month and don't want to bring it there for no reason if it's gonna fail.
