I am still getting to know my new to me 2001 Cab 911 with 6 spd. I found this cover under the passenger seat just laying there. The cover is approx 8" long by 2" wide. Height is maybe 3/16" The top says >ABS< . There are 6 tabs on it for locking, two of which are broken on one side. The inside of the cover has no marks of distinction on it. Anyone know what it is and where it goes?

Coverage and how to read this overview
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.
6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say this isn't part of your car. If it were, it would have a part number molded into it. Looks like part of a carrying case for something.
Yes, I was wondering the same.
It's the cover for the seat memory controller. The seat memory controller is attached to the bottom of the driver's seat.
The marking ABS signifies the type of plastic used to make the part.
Thanks for your help. The cover is back on now.
