Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 4Original post

Also check fuses C2 (ignition relay) and C4 (fuel pump). The DME relay and Ignition relays are in Positions 1 and 2 of relat support 2, located under the carpet behind the rear seats) and have part number 141.951.253.B on them. Can you hear the fuel pump at all? On mine, when you switch on the ignition you can hear the fuel pump for a couple of seconds before it builds up pressure and stops. Here's another possibility if the pump is running, but it still won't fire up: http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?s=&showtopic=22085&view=findpost&p=114976 If you don't have any luck, then I would suggest trying to get a diagnostic test to see if there are any fault codes. Perhaps the crankshaft position sensor has gone bad, and you aren't getting a spark. Without codes though, you are shooting in the dark.
