I can't face a trip to the dealer...Does anyone know how easy it is to adjust the drivers side (UK) window to bring it a little closer to the rubber seal at the back of the window.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I can't face a trip to the dealer...Does anyone know how easy it is to adjust the drivers side (UK) window to bring it a little closer to the rubber seal at the back of the window. I am getting a little wind noise as the window only just rests on the seal at the back of the window. Thanks in advance...!

POST 2Original post

Bad design Mine also has this issue, and it seems like the adjustment is not trivial. Since it has a warranty, the dealer will have to fix it. Tried in january, but they could not complete the adjustment properly in the time available. Going back next week, to fix some other issues and for a service. The window seal design is bad - why didn't they make the doors with door frames. The 928 has door frames, 17 year old seals, and no wind noise. Actually, it has none of the plastic rattles and bonus sports-car noises of the Cayman either.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
