Only problem was the trader only offered £12.5K for mine (99/T C2 with 40K miles, clean & straight).

Suggestion
44000 miles in 8/9 years IS low mileage really, and I would prefer to buy one which has been regularly used than one which has stood for long periods between use.

Going to look at this car, but am relatively new to 911's, so does spec look OK for this car ?
Currently drive a 99 C2, but after having a Carrera GT some what blow me away the other day..... :sad:
Seems very good spec - pay good attention to service history.
Dial in these costs according to that milleage :
- clutch will need replacing either soon or next 15k . 1200 pounds
- bushes & control arms will need replacing soon
- get the car with warranty if possible
- check radiators - they are prone to get replaced;. my car had 5 already , damn stones
- ask for heatshields. mine had twice replaced
Turbos are rock solid and the best buy of the 996 bunch, along with the GT3 and GT2. If things go wrong, are pricey but if the car is well mantained, no surprises are to be had.
Good luck, and join the turbo club. its bloody addictive.
If you do end up buying a different car with a clutch, :lol: the Indies change them for less than £700

With the market the way it is, you should be able to haggle quite a bit on the price. Being a Tip of that age, it will appeal to a narrower market, as most people looking at an early 996 Turbo will want one as a weekend toy, and more likely want a manual. However, if YOU want a Tip, then that's a good thing.
Great car though, PERFECT colour combo :wink: :wink: , and great value.
