Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

0 original-poster resolution reports. Counts can overlap; they are not unique people or a success rate.
0 discussions have direct query context; 0 report a fix in that context. Other evidence may inherit the discussion’s subject.
Suggestion
There's not much info out there on people using Techart but plenty on PSS series and KW.
Leading evidence: 'Use techart' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Use techart' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.
Source reports, not a diagnosis or a success probability. Counts refer to discussions and can overlap.
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

hi guys
am looking for a set of coilovers and spotted these:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Techart-Coil-...sidZp1742.m153.l1262?_trksid=p1742.m153.l1262
Do they look a little worn/scratched to you? also is the price good and how do they compare to kw v3 or bilstein pss9/10?
cheers
That's alot of money for second hand suspension but I believe the Techart kit costs mega £££ to start with, all because of a name :?:
I got my KW V3s for a little over that price from Design911 (not so cheap now), think Boxsey sourced his for alot less. There's not much info out there on people using Techart but plenty on PSS series and KW. KW obviously have my vote and quite a few others from here (including Manthey Racing).
My gut feeling is if you're really willing to shell out that much cash why not look into the X74 or go KW. Try calling KW direct and getting a price. By the time you fit and geo you're looking at £2000+
The Techarts do look good and I'm sure they're up to the job, have you asked Tech9 where they came from and how many miles they've done?
I saw these on US eBay when I was browsing the other day, at about £850 inc shipping.

Absolutely no idea if they are any good or not, but maybe someone here knows.
Those TechArt ones don't look used to me, but they look like they've been in storage for quite a while though.
Hi stuart
I think yr right...they are alot of money for second hand..unless their new..but then why would they be so cheap?
I think kw v3 sound great...might go for them..as the alternative would be to get the m030 and fit lowering springs to them to get the correct height..but as youve told me..it might not be so good for the future..the springs might not work so well with the m030 shocks!
regards
peter
Dilemma, second hand is always going to be a worry unless you can get some assurance they've not been misused or involved in an accident.
Personally, after a major look at M030, X74 and other options, I recently had the KW3s fitted and can only heap praise on their quality and the fact that there were zero installation issues. I now have a car I totally trust and really enjoy compared to before 8)
As mentioned above by our learned friends, you've got to spend the money on getting the setup right...waste of money otherwise and you won't get the "wow" factor.
If you're looking for someone I can vouch for Chris at Center Gravity who installed and then setup my car exactly to my requirements, including corner weights. Trust him implicitly and I won't be going to anyone else.
Cheers for the advice..and low and behold ive just this minute ordered a set of kwv3's  shouldnt have though...been out of work since november.. :frustrated:
will get over to center gravity to set it up when its on..cheers
