Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1Original post

I'm considering buying this air compressor (link below) to inflate tires that requires a DC car battery "cigarette lighter" outlet, but it also requires a 15 amp fuse. Will the 987 Boxster S , year 2007, provide enough current without blowing a fuse? air compressor https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L9WSTEG/ref=ask_ql_qh_dp_hza

POST 2Original post

Since the frunk will probably be open anyway, why not go straight from the battery with spring jaws?

POST 3Original post

The owner's manual for my ' 06 Cayman S includes a diagram of the fuse layout. According to it, the cigarette lighter is protected by a 15-amp fuse. Row A, Fuse 10, on the diagram. Have you looked in your manual for the fuse diagram? My Cayman also came with a tire filling compressor stored in the frunk and I assume the Boxster did also. Did it not? Or did Porsche provide you with a spare tire instead? Just curious. jD

POST 4Original post

Check the frunk, you should have one in there from Porsche along with a tire sealant. I wouldn't use that sealant it's old and messy.
