Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hi all, just been for a blast in the porsche & hit a badger whilst travelling at around the national speed limit... as you can imagine abit of a mess, can anyone recommend a good repair centre before I speak with the insurance co in the morning, need a nice job and decent courtesy car? I'm based in cheshire so local OPC would be chester, any experiance with them or can someone recommend somewhere else. The damage seems to be limited to the bumper, side indicators and all the undertray / black plastics around rads and maybe arch liners. Bit of a pain as I'm still waiting on a payout from an accident in another one of my cars from last year after been hit by a drunk driver and have had 4-5 months off work :nooo: oh well! cheers brumbrum

POST 2Original post

Sorry to hear about that (and for the badger  - one of my favourite wild animals) Do you realise that you are required by law to report that to the Police? Not that they can (or will) do anything about it, but now that it's on here you might save yourself some bother from someone looking for trouble!

POST 3Original post

Sorry to hear this, it's mainly pheasants around here that are the main danger - that and deer! I have a bumper from a 2000 car if you wanted to try and cut the costs of a fix down? Its undamaged save for some stone chips (as usual) - oh, and its arctic silver. Let me know if you are interested.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

cheers wattie, yeah thought i may need too, will do in the morning, saves any mither... as an animal fan myself never nice to see but sometimes impossible to avoid, we have alot of wildlife around here. I'll have a good luck at the damage in the daylight, not too fussed, it is afterall only a car, mmmmn 997RS/turbo here we come! :thumb:

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post
