Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Has anyone used C2 US M030 or ROW M030 on the front of a C4? Am I safe to assume spring is the same but slightly higher spring rate on the C4?

POST 2Original post

The C4 front struts are different than the C2’s, so I don’t think the springs are interchangeable.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Sounds like you are correct that they cannot be used. I knew the struts are unique but thought the springs might be the same except for rate. I checked and different part numbers for the AWD springs vs 2 wheel drive. Additionally H&R springs for the C4 are a different part number from the C2 and with a 1 inch drop vs the H&R C2 springs have a 1.25 drop.
