The reason I replaced it was that someone clipped the side of my car (very lightly) and got a new wing and spoiler fitted instead of repair.

I will check about the front spoiler for you tomorrow as I am picking my car up from the bodyshop.

Not 100% sure if I should have changed from the aero kit spoiler to the Mk2 ironing board but we shall see...
Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Im after a rear spoiler for my 2000 996, I have a facelift front end and have a Mk2 Gt3 front spoiler and side skirts so need a rear spoiler to match?
Im not a great fan of the mk1 996 gt3 spoiler so am looking for something different?
Has anyone got any pictures of different spoilers and where to get them from!!! :?
Adam
Adam,
I've been looking about myself for a spoiler option for my C4S but as far as i can see there's not a huge choice or places in the uk to pick them up. I was just looking for a not huge
but slightly understated wing if there is such a thing.
I did however find this site but its in the US
www.misha911.com
but i still have no idea how much these cost either. But it would appear some people in the uk have purchased them.
Might be worth a look for you though.
Mckay.
I have just fitted a GT3 front and rear spoiler to my 2002 C2.
I now have an OEM factory fitted rear aero kit/cab spoiler in Artic Silver (perfect condition) available if you are interested. My car only has 36k miles on it and has been well looked after - no chips on the wing etc.
I would say that as far as spoilers go, these are about a subtle as you get for a Carrera and will keep the factory look with sills and front end. Also, you will be bale to keep the OPC warranty with this one - although I guess you are past the 10 year window now?
Attached photos are from a US spec car but show the spoiler I am speaking about.
Let me know if you are interested or have any questions
I meant to add:
As you have the MK2 GT3 front bumper already, you really do need a rear spoiler to keep it all in balance, so to speak.
I originally had a standard front end but with aero kit sills and rear spolier. When I sourced the (actual) GT3 front bumper I was told I could keep my existing spoiler or fit the GT3 one and keep warranty/aerodynamics etc. (I had the work done at OPC Bodyshop)
Not 100% sure if I should have changed from the aero kit spoiler to the Mk2 ironing board but we shall see...
Hope this is helpful anyway
I am having this very spoiler fitted as I write by "911design". Doing me a very good deal
although it would have been good to know you were selling one in Artic Silver 24hrs ago before I dropped my car off - you dont have the front end do you?
Typical! Looks like I was just too slow
Would have been a perfect, and simple, bolt on for you too as in correct colour. Would only have been looking for around £500 too and that is for OEM item.
I will check about the front spoiler for you tomorrow as I am picking my car up from the bodyshop. The reason I replaced it was that someone clipped the side of my car (very lightly) and got a new wing and spoiler fitted instead of repair. I will check to see final condition of old front spoiler for you and get some photos.
If it is usable or cheap to remove scuff etc then would pass it on for very little if interested. I think a new one is £1,400 before painitng + fitting!
