I am running power of fuse F9, which is the radio and telephone, and it works with the car turned off so I assume that is unswitched power.

I upgraded this evening from 2.03 to 2.05 and lost my CD6 function ( CDR24 with bose) I could not move from Disc3 to AUX or USB or to control my ipod directly. I had to revert back to 1.05 then back to 2.02. Before I did that I downgraded from 2.05 to 2.03 but the problem stayed. Now I am apprehensive of updating to 2.03 and 2.05. Anyway if I use the 1.05 firmware. how do I access the aux and usb functions from the CDR24 ?

Thinking about the problem description you sent to me: "I also lost the ability to move (disc6) to AUX (track 1), controling from Ipod (track 2)..." Is it possible that you set the textmode on? (With the bypass SW moved 6 times.) Then you will get a Menu instead of Source Selection. On a non-text capable head unit it would be confusing to navigate in the Menu. Also it can explain why it is fixed itself: when you update from 1.x to 2.x the EEPROM is set to default state, so the wrong textmode setting is cleared.

I am not really sure of what happen. I just followed the steps to update. For people like me who does not really know the internal going ons with programing, I would not know what activated what. All I did was update and then I lost the functions. But what is more important to me to know are what benefits would I get for updating to 2.05 from 2.02 with my CDR24 . If it is not significant, I will probably just keep it at the current working version.

I finally did get updated from 1.05 to 2.05. My iPod UI does work for me now. Thanks GW500! However, the repeat setting will not stay off. It turns itself back on every time I connect the iPod. I am running power of fuse F9, which is the radio and telephone, and it works with the car turned off so I assume that is unswitched power. Is this the firmware doing this or something else?
