Motorola announced a new Bluetooth to FM transmitter. No price yet, available in Q1 '08. This will allow Bluetooth phones (w/MP3 players) to use the FM radio to play music and phone calls with music interrupt. Unit is visor mounted and has a mic for phone calls and even a small speaker if you don't want FM. It supports stereo Bluetooth (if the phone/music player does). It would be cool if they broadcast the song title on the FM text feature and even the CDR24 would display it. This is a generic Bluetooth device and is not limited to Motorola phones. Any device supporting HFP or A2DP proifiles should work, including MP3/IPods, etc. It uses audio for the user interface: tune your radio to station... and for Caller ID number (it specifically says number not contact name).
