Read evidence and context

Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I would like to play around with these and try softer damper settings with stiffer bars. I have Eibach adjustable. How easy is it to change from one setting to another? Do i have to have the wheels loaded or could i do this jacked up on stands? i'm worried about getting one sied out and then not being able to get it back into place or seomthing like that

POST 2Original post

It's very easy, don't need the wheels loaded and don't really need to take the wheels off. For the rear you can even adjust them with the car on the ground, front is a bit trickier and needs to be jacked up really.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks you Shalmaneser! Will try some combinations of softer damper and harder ARB when weather allows some road testing.
