I don’t like the dual squared off tips on my stock 2006 Cayman S . I was looking at the Vivid racing tips. They look like a straight bolt on tip. Anyone experience any issues with removing the stock tips? Experience with the Vivid racing quality? Thanks.

I have a set of Soul tips for my S and I have not installed it because the bolts that attach the muffler to the headers are very gnarly. I think that I will need to cut them off and replace the bolts and that seems like opening a can of worms just for looks. I would hate to end up removing the headers and risking broken bolts. I will probably leave well-enough alone and sell it.

I put Agency Power tips on my 987.1 CS. I think they're a great improvement over the stock trapezoid thing. Installation was a breeze, but the car has always been in SoCal so no rust issues. I did obsess awhile over getting them perfectly aligned

I really like the appearance of the Soul products and had inquired about an X-pipe for my 987.1 . They were not selling them as a separate product at that time, so I went with Fabspeed. I really like the Fabspeed carbon tips that I have, and paired with the FVD Brombacher exhaust system, they sound great.

Had the chrome Agency tips on my 2008 CS. Was very pleased with improved look and sound. Took them off when lease was up. Think they are packed away in the basement. If interested, will see if I can dig them out. Happy to send pics. Recall install was simple 10mm socket off/on.
