Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Ran up to Harrisburg PA from Northern VA, USA with my wife. 250 mi RT. Velvet. It is occassionally stalling at lights. MAF a good suspect? And I can't believe I forgot to deal with this: I changed the wheels from 18" to 17" (snows). I only noticed the speedo discrepancy when I was finally able to power a GPS. The speedo is fast by about 5-6 MPH. Which will be throwing off the OC, ODO, etc etc. Is there a user reset? Or must it be done by a tech? Is it electronic, IE a menu selection, or is there a little gear set that has to be installed somewhere? Gracias!

POST 2Original post

i know it sounds counterintuitive, but the speedometer being off doesnt affect the other things - odometer, tripometer, etc. just something "quirky" you lean to deal with - "no sweetie, i'm not really going 90, the speedometer is wrong..."

POST 3Original post

Tony is right on the money with the speedometer discrepancy. Most if not all read higher than the actual speed you are traveling. Porsche did this on purpose so not to worry. Have fun with the car and DRIVE it!!! AKL
