I cleaned my projectors last summer and it made a huge difference, but the other reflector is starting to burn through the chrome and will need replacing.

No side-by-side before and after picture comparisons but the 6000K bulbs I fitted made for a whiter white than the OEM bulbs

I already have projectors - with litronics
Not had a chance to fit these yet - been messing around fitting generic fleabay projectors in the kids cars and I'm fed up with cooking lenses off headlights and working in my freezing cold garage.
There's no lens removal with these but I need a break from headlights until the xmas break....

Finally fitted.....
I've yet to align them but looks ok so far - will get some pics soon. No side-by-side before and after picture comparisons but the 6000K bulbs I fitted made for a whiter white than the OEM bulbs

Definitely worth doing if you have halogens. And probably worth doing if you suspect your projectors are past their best. Maybe a higher temperature bulb would have resulted in a similar "improvement" but I fancied a tinker :dont know:
My thoughts exactly, i have litronics on mine & did wonder if the improvements are from the bulb and newer projector. It looks like a decent kit and fairly straightforward to install

I have installed the 996 kit for litronics (mine is a 996 Turbo) and the improvement is amazing. Possibly the most cost effective mod I've done to my car.
With our 16-20 year old cars, the OEM projectors are not only old tech but also worn out. In mine, the chrome was mostly flaked off and the lens cannot be compared with nowadays tech.
The range and crispiness of the headlights is heaps and bounds ahead of the OEM.
