Anyone know how to adjust the height of a Litronic headlight fitted to a 996 C2?
Mine's pointing at the ground, but only on the off-side.
If it's an easy job I may as well have a go myself as my dealer's a fair distance away...
Cheers
Dan
I had a small knock in this corner and had to get a new unit fitted and it's not been right since then...
A bit more searching has turned up this site, which has instructions to retro-fit Litronics to a Boxster. It shows there's a mounting plate that can be adjusted:
http://www.pelicanparts.com/techarticles/box_litronic/litronic_pg1a.htm
You need to take the back of the unit cover off... the link is for the 997 but its the same thing...

On 996 facelift Litronics you have to remove the light and cover as Gary says, but you will then see a hexagon nut, which you turn to the "T" (touring) position.
It is shown in the owner's handbook.
I did mine on the tunnel the once.....[&:] cars parked very close in front![:'(]
You can do them prior to leaving home as all it does is lose the left hand kick up that we have to light the hedges and road signs... still leaves plenty of light on the road.

Hi Guys
I know I am barging my way in here, but you may be able to help me. I have an 07 Cayenne with Litronic lights and would like to know if this same adjustment is possible. I can't find any information anywhere and really want to avoid the nasty sticker option.
Many thanks

According to the (2006) Cayenne Workshop Manual I have, they aren't switchable, and you have to stick foil patches over certain areas of the light to block out part of the beam. A kit is available from an OPC. If you would like the instructions, drop me an email.
