Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

As long as the color you're looking for is black the Porsche GT3 seats (which fit great btw) work well in the car and can be had "used" for the 2K mark and about 2.8k new these days.

I know 911RSR is going to be re-running their group buy in a fashion that works for everyone here shortly, just waiting on the info from them.

You need to go to the dealer and have them set a few options to tell the computer you have removed the thorax bags and the passengers seat (which has sensors for the air bag system).

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

I don't think he could log in because it didn't send him a password but I just fixed his sleepless account and sent him a password so he should be able to get in under that account now.
They are amazingly comfy given they are racing seats; basically the same shell as the Recaro Pole Position seats. Very usable for daily driving and long trips (I sat in them for 1000 miles to Laguna Seca and then a 1000 miles back to Seattle!).
If you don't want to spend the money for the GT3 seats then the Recaro Pole Position seats are just as supportive and comfy for about 1/3 the cost.
The roll bar was done by a local shop so it is a custom bar for a custom price ($3500
). I believe Mooty's similar bar was $2500 at the shop he used in the Bay Area. At this point, unless Mantis is making them for self installation, custom bars are the only option right now. These should be a lot cheaper if someone mass produced them; may be the folks at Das Sport would be interested???
However, the beauty of a customer bar is that it fits very tight in the cabin and that allows the bar to not be in your view (rear view mirror) as is common with mass produced bars; they add a greater tolerance for fitment so they tend to not fit as tight and get in the way of the rear view.
Have you checked the 911RSR sale? They are made by the same company they just don't have the Porsche logo or seat rails with them but are significantly less expensive. I know 911RSR is going to be re-running their group buy in a fashion that works for everyone here shortly, just waiting on the info from them.
Pete,
I gathered you no longer have side air bags, now that the OEM seats are out. I heard that actually interrupts the entire air bag circuit and the front bags won't work either. Do you know if that is true?
Thanks.

You need to go to the dealer and have them set a few options to tell the computer you have removed the thorax bags and the passengers seat (which has sensors for the air bag system). After that the system is fully functional. The dealer programming takes a couple of minutes. I posted the exact settings elsewhere; search on air bags.
Love those GT3 seats! Is it possible to swap them in and out on a regualr basis with the Sport Seats? My wife would kill me if I put seats in that took away the heated seat option (it gets cold here in Joisey).
)
Can I set it up so that in the summer I have the GT3 seats and then when fall comes, swap them over? I'm assuming that you can't have the heated seat option with the GT3 seat.
As long as the color you're looking for is black the Porsche GT3 seats (which fit great btw) work well in the car and can be had "used" for the 2K mark and about 2.8k new these days. They're not the "lightest" seat available by any means but they're still only 26 pound with the rails and other stuff... I love the other Recaros for fitment etc.. but I can do without the big logo in white
