Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

2 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

This is pretty easy to get to, you just put the seats down, pull the carpet from the middle and there are the covers and mounting plates. ECU is under the left, relay board on the right. Both covers are bolted together in the middle. The hardest part is getting those damn rubber washers back around the covering plates. If you are experiencing starting issues and want to see if the ignition relay is working, bypass it, it's the black one. To test, bridge MFIDI relay in position 1 on the relay board (black), remove relay with ignition off. Use fused wire or pin to bridge position 80+87 on the relay. Turn ignition on to test. Serial of relay is 14195253B.
