Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

6 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I had 3 coil packs fitted to my car on Friday, Drove the car carefully along A46 I know they are out with their "Safety Scameras" on this stretch on a Friday.Once past these points decided I had seen to much of the MX 5 in front and tried to overtake and my car did not have any grunt or go to pass him :x I stopped for fuel and after starting off "Drive to Workshop" engine check etc was back. My nearest Indy says this is maybe Air flow sensor or the Air control unit has any one also had this too ? They were the guys who changed the coil packs. No misfire but will not rev past 4k will not change up in auto (Tip) Fuel consumption however is great ! Would like to get this sorted before weekend FIA GTs at Silverstone any Ideas why this has happened ? :frustrated:

POST 2Original post

what did the fault record for the "drive to workshop" light to come on sounds like maf sensor faulting..

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Not sure what the code was. This was a phone call today as they had finished for the weekend when it come on the second time :x

POST 4Original post

Hi, Did you get any further with this? My C2 CAB tip seems to have developed a simialr problem where it struggles to go beyound 4K revs in 3rd, no fault lights though. Most irratating :x see post 'Something is not right' Regards Roger

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi,the fault showed as Valve lift control was unplugged !! but workshop staff say they didnt touch this. I found that odd as they were the only lot with their hands in there.Anyway,it was refitted and put in the clip it was adrift from and all is back to normal again. Had a nice run to Silverstone Sunday and all was o.k

POST 6Original post
