Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

hey folks,
i'm quite new on here so if the etiquette is to post photos in a gallery section instead of in these forums could an admin move the thread? :?
This is my first Porsche, picked it up at the end of March and the time has flown in. So glad to have it in time for the summer!
It is a 2000 Carrera 3.4 with factory option XAA aerokit and GT3 style wheels - don't worry, it still proudly wears its Carrera badge on the boot!
It has a few other options too like PSM stability control, silver interior trim bits and hifi sound.
The colour is Zanzibar Red - DVLA reckon its orange according to the log book and i won't argue with them there - maybe a bit OTT for some but its exactly what i was after, looks stunning on a sunny day!!
Managed to get a few photos yesterday evening after a quick wax so hope you all like them!
You've been tango'd!
No, only joking, I think the car looks great, especially with those wheels and the spoiler.
Welcome to the forum

Love the colour, didn't even know that existed. Have you seen the Kalami Orange interiors on the BMW Z3 M coupe? it was on my shopping list before deciding to go the 911 route. It would look stunning with a black & kalami interior trim.
Really unique car.
Thanks for the comments guys, I thought the colour might upset some of the purists, the first owner must have taken a big gamble picking that shade out from the brochure, glad it's got black interior to balance things out.
Re: lowering it - the front lip catches on things way too often as it is! (good old Scottish roads!)
Only things I'd like to change are
1- get a porsche sport exhaust
2- xenon HID headlights
3- change the head unit for a Becker Grand Prix
Smashing Pumpkin!
Can't see why you should think it isn't "pure" - Porsche offered the colour as official and it would be a very boring world if they were all silver (or black, or grey or dark blue ... zzzz).
The 997 GT3 RS looks stunning in orange, and that is a solid paint (and yours is metallic) - roll on 1A9 !
You should consider fitting OEM Litronics (especially as you have the washers) - about £650-£700 brand new (less from salvage/eBay), then eBay your old ones (less corner infills) for £250-£300. Plug and Play - 30 secs to fit each side! (Ok, slightly longer as you would be carefully unclipping washer jets and affixing to new lamps, then 30 secs a side!)

Naah! One member North of the Border used to have a very nice GT3 in Zanzibar Red and I think there is, or was, a very nice Carrera similar to your car based down in Dorset.
Tis a brave choice though but with the black interior, not one that will find many detractors here . Welcome and enjoy :thumb:
