Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

3 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Noticed that the right hand side plastic cover next to the battery was not sitting properly so I thought I'd have a go at refitting it properly over the wk end. When I took it off there was a heap of dried leaves covering the pollen filter and blocking the water drains. How do they get in there considering there isn't an obvious vent to let them in? Anyway, it looks like the pollen filter needs to be replaced and I was wondering whether to buy a carbon cabin filter instead of a plain pollen filter and where to buy one from at a reasonable price. Thanks in advance.

POST 2Original post

look up the Euro Car Parts website for more info. Saw a carbon filter for the car last night.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Just a quick update, I decided to buy a carbon filter from the OPC and fitted this myself. Yes it is about double the price of a OEM item. Service guy said he'd deduct the price of the carbon filter from my next service when the filter is due to be replaced
