This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Is the Costco stuff the correct grade ? Also what should the grade be ?

POST 4Original post

It's all here Steve: http://www.porscheclubgbforum.com/tm.asp?m=230743 [ ] Costco sell Mobil 1 0W-40. I believe they are also doing Castrol Edge 5W-40. Personally, I prefer a 5W-40, as on my C2 it all but eliminated the occasional startup tappet clatter and puff of smoke. I use Fuchs Titan Supersyn 5W-40 and get it from Opie Oils. Good for mail order: http://www.opieoils.co.uk/

POST 6Original post

Generally speaking, almost none. I never used to have to top up my C2 between changes (6000 miles), and it was a reasonably high mileage car. They tend to use a bit when new, but after about 15-20,000 the consumption goes down. The Turbo is a different kettle of fish though.......
