The above really. Will the suspension removed from a GT3 RS be a straight fit onto my 996 Carrera?

How much of the suspension (just shocks and springs or the wishbones, wheel carriers, etc...)? Much of it certainly will, but despite being 2WD, the 996 GT3 uses the stiffer chassis of the narrow body Carrera 4, so maybe not all. Hopefully a Porsche mechanic will be along with the definitive answer shortly.

I thought the mounting points were reversed or something hence why you can't fit GT3 drop links on a C2 :dont know:

It's just the shocks/springs that have been offered to me. I wasn't sure if these would fit without any other components needing changed?? I'm new to Porsche and don't know if my standard suspension has height adjustment the same as the GT3? And I assume the springs/shocks will provide a stiffer car for track days etc?? Any mechanics yet..............???
