Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

Suggestion

If the screen has been replaced, I'd suggest you check the connections to the aerial amplifier, behind the A pillar trim, driver's side.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

  • 911uk: 1 discussions

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

The recent arrival 02 996 is fantastic, I have a really trivial problem: the radio is not great, the signal is poor, is this a common fault and is there something I can do to improve the reception? :?: Many thanks Ken

POST 2Original post

How poor? Mine isn't great tbh. However, if you're struggling to get anything, then I suspect your windscreen has been replaced at some time and not re-seated entirely correctly (the arial goes down the middle of it).

POST 3Original post

If the screen has been replaced, I'd suggest you check the connections to the aerial amplifier, behind the A pillar trim, driver's side.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I will give the A piller a try later this afternoon, and let you know. Many thanks Ken

POST 5Original post

I think I may have the same problem too Thanks for the pointer Richard H........but how do you remove the A-pillar? ~ Maxie :dont know:

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Today was the day, nice and sunny, so I thought I would have a go, and as expected there as a wire that had come undone, this was a simple fix Thanks for the advice Radio works perfect. Ken
