Suggestion · Original poster

I tried using a normal sized rubber washer in an attempt to get it lined up better but looking at the workshop manual it shows an actual part but no part number which looks like it would do a better job.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

I've recently replaced the Fuel Door Cap actuator as mine had snapped off. But I think I might be missing a part as when I lock the car the prong shoots out but doesn't always locate properly in the door catch part. I tried using a normal sized rubber washer in an attempt to get it lined up better but looking at the workshop manual it shows an actual part but no part number which looks like it would do a better job. Does anyone know what this part is called or even better the part number? Thanks as always for any assistance

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Thanks that's perfect, any idea if it's possible to get parts from Porsche dealers in London at the moment with lockdown restrictions closing most places?

POST 4Original post

My local OPC is operating for parts collection. Give them a call. MC
