I know some places change the bushes, so I was wondering whether to get the old ones back or to bin them.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

7 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

0 evidence records excluded for query context · 0 excluded by outcome qualification · 0 adjusted by outcome qualification.

0 acknowledgements have no verified action link; they do not establish a repair result.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hi All, I'm having all the bushed suspension arms changed on my car next week. Is there a market for the old ones, do you think? I know some places change the bushes, so I was wondering whether to get the old ones back or to bin them. Cheers Dave

POST 2Original post

I have a couple of old ones knocking about with knackered ball joints and no bushes. I hear Hartech refurbish them but I'm unsure if they actually need or buy spares, or if anyone else refurbishes them?

POST 3Original post

Best option is to put the lot on facebook market place in the Porsche selling groups or list them on here for sale as a job lot. Some people want them to be able to make custom suspension parts, etc.

POST 4Original post

We used to send them to Hartech to be refurbed .. they then charged and returned so we could use them . Not sure if they are any more than scrap value these days as it was only Hartech that refurbed them .. ours tend to go in the bin these days .

POST 5 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Yeah - thanks all - I'll chuck em. Cheers Dave

POST 6Original post

As you've got links off cars, can I ask for some dimensions? I'm after : Lower arm inner - ring inner diameter Lower arm inner - ring length Lower arm inner bush - inner collar length Ta

POST 7 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

All being done at the garage I'm afraid - sorry about that! Cheers Dave
