This is not a probability of success.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

4 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

Hello all, just purchased a 2004 model. unfortunately the lumbar support keeps going to the maximum setting every time I lock/ unlock the car. I've tried resetting the memory on the seats. I've tried storing on position 1/2 and key on the memory settings. Nothing seems to work . Any suggestions?

POST 3Original post

No expert here as I am fairly new at Porsche, but have you tried the process in the owners manual to disable this feature? I.E.: "1: switch on ignition with desired key. 2: simultaneously press and hold key button and person button 2 for at least 5 seconds." Beyond this I would have to get out the Bentley book, which by the way is an excellent resource.

POST 4 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

tried that one. I've reset all the settings. tried reprogramming. tried reprogramming under different numbers/ based on key/ swapping keys. All to no avail.

This is a source reference. Confirm exact model applicability in the original material.
