Explicit resolution reports before identified causes, performed actions and suggestions. Within each level, matching component labels precede direct query mentions and inherited thread context; successful versus unsuccessful discussion counts, owner confirmations and independent discussion support determine order. This is not a probability of success.

I used the flexible silicon type when fitting my toogear exhaust a year ago; worked great.

Suggestion
Not sure if TG still supply the el cheapo clamps for refitting the tailpipes but if they do bin them straight away otherwise you might be tempted to use them and forget to replace soon after.
Leading evidence: 'Use flexible silicon type' (no explicit attributable resolution; this is a reported action or suggestion). Across 1 matching discussions, The most frequently discussed action is 'Replace soon' (1 discussions). For that action, 0 discussions report a resolution and 0 report an unsuccessful attempt. No action has an explicit, attributable resolution report under the current rules. These are forum reports and suggestions, not a confirmed diagnosis.

A quick question, should I use exhaust paste on the sleeves when fitting new silencers or leave them dry?

My fear is made worse by my decision to use stainless nuts/bolts that won't rust tight (as a form of rusty threadlock!).
These are separate views of the same evidence. Frequency alone does not establish a fix, and these counts must not be added together.

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

Maybe just me, but I dont think U-bolts to clamp the joints on a 60K supercar seem right.
Norma and Mikalor make some stylish and inexpensive stainless clamps - for about £15 more you could have something much more in keeping with the purposeful engineering of the car.
Just my 2p's worth.

Not sure if TG still supply the el cheapo clamps for refitting the tailpipes but if they do bin them straight away otherwise you might be tempted to use them and forget to replace soon after. That's what I did and lost both my tailpipes when they rusted through a few years later, buy a decent Stainless steel fitting kit for better looks and longevity.
Great exhaust though, top quality and great sound.
Does anyone else have an occasional EML come on after fitting these Top Gears? Fault code is usually P0156 (or similar), relating to the O2 Sensor Circuit Bank 2. I've had a mechanic investigate and the O2 sensors were fine and they thought it was because of the after-market silencers confusing the system...
EML get's re-set but comes on again every few hundred miles which is a slight PITA
I have binned the crappy top gear fittings, rusted off at 2.5 years. Also get a weak mixture light on the code reader every few months, I just reset it and move on.
Any particular reason why these bolts can't go in from the bottom of these hangers? Obviously they could fall out that way but it's unlikely surely? It would make it easier for potential removal in the future. BTW I'm not using the old bolts, just waiting for the new ones to arrive!
I've fitted mine from the bottom to assist with removal but I am a little nervous of the nut coming loose and the bolt dropping out/exhaust wobbling about (I doubt it would fall off as it's held by one of the pipes). Mines only done 400 miles since exhaust so it's early days.
My fear is made worse by my decision to use stainless nuts/bolts that won't rust tight (as a form of rusty threadlock!). The tubes in the hanger brackets are stainless and as such these OEM nuts/bolts being mild steel will rust fast if OEM is used and the bolt rusts solid in the tube after a couple of years which is a right PITA to remove as are all the exhaust nuts (all are mild steel in stainless exhaust/hangers!). Large cathode and small anode as standard by Porsche which is very bad for corrosion rate of the fittings.
I've just opted to do the nuts up to 3 ugger-duggas and keep my fingers crossed, if I notice anything coming loose then I'll lockwire the buggers.
