I just completed replacment of my electic window regulator. Disconnected battery before removing door airbag. Completed window regulator replacement and buttoned everything up. I'm sure the airbag was re connected. Now I have an airbag failure red light on. How can I reset this warning??

That's terrible news. I ordered the Pelican part, read the tech article and followed every step, so I would'nt pay through the nose at my local shop. "Porsche specific diagnostic tool" is'nt mentioned in the tech article. Any chance there is some other combination of steps, fuses, turn the key series or something like that to clear code?

In a word, no. This type of issue reoccurs regularly, the answer is always the same, you need a Porsche specific system to reset it, nothing else will work.

Did you test the window before reattaching the air bag? That will set the code. If not, better make sure that the air bag is fully connected before you pay to have it reset.
