I've had mine out a few times when replacing plug tubes and fault finding my CAS (checking for ignition issues), I seem to have got it down to about 30 mins a side.

Coverage and how to read this overview

Counts describe captured discussions, not unique people or a diagnosis. Author identities are not reliably stored. Exact duplicate evidence is counted once across matching discussions; one discussion counts at most once per action/state. Multiple repairs reported together remain a combination. Suggestions and failed attempts do not establish a fix. Matches cover whole discussions and can include related faults, model variants and incomplete threads.

5 eligible posts · 0 unverified posts · 1 discussions match the subject in their title or opening post.

POST 1 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

hey guys gona attempt my spark plgs and coil packs any diagrames and do the silencers have to come off thamks

POST 2Original post

not necessarily, though plugs 1 + 4 (the two most rearward) are very awkward, 4 being the worst. Really depends on hand size and correct tools. http://www.renntech.org/forums/index.php?

POST 3 / ORIGINAL POSTEROriginal post

cool thanks mate ive done them 2 hrs exactly not to bad i though i have small hands so made it easier i think see what you mean about 4 tho !!!

POST 4Original post

Nicely done, 2 hours is good going and probably not far off what the OPC would charge (1.5 hours I think). I've had mine out a few times when replacing plug tubes and fault finding my CAS (checking for ignition issues), I seem to have got it down to about 30 mins a side. The trickiest by far is the O/S, and you have to be careful to get the coil pack tubes in straight or you can split the ends (although porscheshop sell them cheap enough). Anyway, glad you did it without any issues
