Anyone have any insight on engine missfiring on tickover from cold. Are the coil packs a bit but and miss also what are the best plugs to use on the 3.6.

Probably coil packs. I just bought 6 new Beru ones for £100. Cured mine.

If the car has variocam Plus with high lift tappets then the solenoid might be the issue .. you would be looking for fault codes of misfires on x1 bank only .

Thanks no fault codes found after one scan. Just a couple for wing mirrors.
